APERTURA AWARDS SEASON 2011

Sono passate meno di 48 ore dalla conclusione trionfale dell'awards season 2010 con la Notte degli Oscar (che ha visto trionfare 'The Hurt Locker' e per la prima volta un regista di sesso femminile) ed è già ora di guardare lontano verso il 2011 e i possibili successori dei freschi vincitori.
Inutile dire che le prime previsioni sono davvero ardue a così tanto tempo di distanza dal periodo caldo della futura stagione dei premi e che una buona idea di quel che sarà si potrà avere solamente a partire da Ottobre.
Per ora ci si può basare soprattutto sulla nomea dei possibili protagonisti e quindi sulla loro carriera pregressa mentre mancano certamente quelle che saranno le new-entry del 2011 ed i piccoli film indipendenti che negli ultimi anni più che mai stanno diventando protagonisti delle awards seasons sbucando praticamente dal nulla.
Le prime indicazioni ed i primi nomi forti su cui puntare arriveranno dai grandi festival cinematografici internazionali tra i quali gli ormai conclusi Sundance (che l'anno scorso premiò 'Precious' e due anni fa 'Frozen River') e Berlino (Orso d'Oro 2009 per il peruviano 'Canto di Paloma' e premio alla sceneggiatura per 'The Messenger') sino ad arrivare a Venezia (Coppa Volpi per il Colin Firth di 'A Single Man') e Roma (Premio per l'interpretazione di Helen Mirren in 'The Last Station') passando per l'infinito glamuor di Cannes (Palma d'Oro 2009 a 'Il Nastro Bianco', Gran Premio della Giuria per 'Il Profeta').
Per i primi premi facenti più propriamente parte della classica awards season occorrerà aspettare i primi Critics Awards made in USA non prima di Novembre.
Ma intanto più per curiosità e divertimento che non per convinzione di una loro veridicità ecco le prime previsioni su quello che ci aspetta nelle varie categorie.
